Em São Paulo, no Memória da América Latina, acontece o II Encontro Paulista de Museus. Com o tema Ser Diferente, Fazer a Diferença, o encontro reúne especialistas para debater pontos relevantes na museologia contemporânea. O evento engloba ainda, apresentações referentes aos principais temas de museologia; encontro de Prefeitos e Secretários Municipais da Cultura em São Paulo, com o tema: A cultura e os museus como estratégia de desenvolvimento social e econômico dos municípios; visita técnica aos museus: Língua Portuguesa, Pinacoteca do Estado, MASP, Museu do Futebol, Museu Afro Brasil; mostra de resultados dos museus paulistas e exposição de fornecedores de soluções e serviços para museus.
A Expomus participa do evento com um stand com resultados de nossa trajetória na área, que neste ano de 2010 completa de 29 anos. A Museologia é a espinha dorsal de nossa atuação que pode também ser conferida nos relatos das experiências apresentadas ao logo do Encontro, já que a Expomus atuou em alguns dos projetos que estão sendo apresentados pelos Museus.
