Carolina Vilas Boas, Coordenadora do Núcleo de Educação e Inclusão da Expomus, fala sobre o programa educativo da exposição Tão longe, tão perto, que estará em cartaz a partir do dia 21 de março e até 23 de maio de 2010, no Museu de Arte Brasileira da Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado – FAAP.
"É sempre um grande desafio compor equipes educativas para exposições temporárias, pois a preparação, a aprendizagem e a relação com os conteúdos escolares levam um tempo muitas vezes maior do que o próprio período da exposição. Sempre nos surpreende a relação que o público estabelece com os conteúdos propostos, o que nos motiva a investir sempre na elaboração de materiais educativos e estratégias de extroversão que potencializem a continuidade do aprendizado mesmo após o término da mostra.
O Programa Educativo de Tão longe, tão perto teve como guia os conceitos de convergência e emergência tecnológica que permeiam toda a exposição. Para a educação, esses conceitos iluminam o caminho ao revelar os processos de investigação científica e de criação. Aliado a isso, contamos com a mostra de equipamentos e aparelhos do acervo da Fundação Telefônica, que tem grande apelo educacional.
A exposição trata destes temas com uma equilibrada relação entre um acervo tridimensional – que desperta a memória e revela um passado que, para os jovens, é bastante distante –, e um audacioso projeto multimídia que, na exposição, tem a dupla função de suporte expositivo e também metalinguagem.
A educação sofre os impactos do mundo contemporâneo – o advento da internet e, principalmente, essa nova configuração que vivemos com a web 2.0 subvertem a lógica do usuário consumidor de informação, transformando-o também em agente gerador de conteúdo, o que acaba por acelerar cada vez mais os processos de mudança.
A exposição busca refletir sobre essas mudanças e seus referenciais no passado, por meio de relações interdisciplinares e o acervo de aparelhos históricos, que sempre fascinam as crianças e jovens mais do que a própria tecnologia.
