O Colóquio Internacional de Arte Contemporânea e Museus: transversalidades poéticas e políticas começou ontem e vai até o dia 27 de agosto no Santander Cultural Porto Alegre.
Realizado pelo Instituto Brasileiro de Museus (Ibram/MinC), a Fundação Nacional das Artes (Funarte/MinC) e o Programa Ibermuseus, com o apoio do Santander Cultural e da Secretaria de Cultura do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul, o encontro temo como objetivos o fomento às ações de pesquisa e documentação que levem ao aprofundamento do discurso crítico e reflexivo sobre a formação de acervos de arte contemporânea e das ações relacionadas às artes visuais.
Abarcar o amplo leque de meios e mídias, bem como novas conexões e formas de cooperação entre museus, artistas, pesquisadores, críticos, produtores, gestores culturais e públicos. Promover o patrimônio artístico, que articula passado, presente e futuro, também são metas que o colóquio pretende alcançar.
Nossa diretora Maria Ignez Mantovani Franco, participa dos debates na programação que acontece hoje as 14 horas. Arte e mercado: galerias, museus, coleções e baratos afins, contará com a participação da Maria Ignez, do Milton Machado, artista plástico e doutor em Artes Visuais pelo Goldsmiths College, University of London e como o artista visual Alex Topini. A mediação será conduzida por Ricardo Resende.
